Privacy Policy

Spinlygames is a free web application offering random decision tools. The site is operated by an independent developer based in Spain. For any questions, use our contact form.

Server and infrastructure logs: Our hosting provider, Vercel, may log standard HTTP request data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used for security and infrastructure purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Analytics (when accepted): If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 is loaded and collects anonymised usage data — pages visited, time on page, general location (country/city), device type. We use this to understand which tools are popular and where the site can improve. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

Advertising (when added): Google AdSense is not yet active. When it is, and if you accept marketing cookies, personalised ads may use cookies to serve relevant advertising. We will update this policy when ads are activated.

We want to be explicit about what we don't collect because it's the more important list:

• We have no user accounts — we cannot identify you as an individual.
• We do not collect email addresses unless you contact us directly.
• We do not store your wheel entries or nameson any server. Everything you type into our tools is stored only in your own browser's localStorage — we never see it.
• Share URLs use base64 encoding of your entries directly in the URL. We never receive or store the URL parameters — the decoding happens entirely in your browser.
• We have no email marketing list.

Spinlygames stores the following data in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device — we cannot read it:

• spinly-theme — your preferred colour scheme (light/dark)
• spinly-consent — your cookie preferences and consent timestamp
• spinly-wheel-current — your current wheel entries
• spinly-wheel-saved — any named wheels you've saved
• Similar keys for other tools (coin counter, dice history, name picker list, etc.)

You can clear all of this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for spinlygames.com.

We use cookies for essential functionality and, with your consent, for analytics. See our Cookie Policy for a full breakdown of each cookie, its purpose, and its lifetime.

Your cookie preferences are managed through the banner shown on your first visit. You can update them at any time from our Cookie Policy page.

• Vercel — our hosting provider. They process server requests on our behalf. Privacy policy.
• Google Analytics — usage analytics, loaded only with your consent. Privacy policy.
• Google AdSense — not yet active. Will be added in a future update, gated behind marketing cookie consent.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: You can ask us to delete your data.
• Portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: You can opt out of analytics at any time by updating your cookie preferences.
• Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw analytics or marketing consent at any time from the Cookie Settings panel.
• Lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

To exercise any of these rights, use our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

Because we hold no personal data beyond what Vercel's infrastructure logs, most requests will result in confirmation that we have nothing to provide, delete, or correct.

Spinlygames is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal data to us (e.g. via the contact form), please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Spinlygames after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be noted prominently.
